I bought this book not knowing what to expect, I'm not a religous person in fact I'm Native American and have a different belief system then the one the book offers. But the book was fantastic, it captures you and draws you in, I lost all sense of time while reading the book. It is a well told story that gives the reader many issues to ponder and maybe the chance to see people and events in a different light.

There are a lot of youth and young adults that know or feel that they have a great battle being fought over their souls as we speak. First of all I am a 17 year old girl and senior in high school. I have always lived in a christian atmosphere. When I am looking for a book I look for adventure and excitement, and have never picked up a christian book other than the Bible. Just by chance or something greater I ran across your book in Wal-mart and was in a hurry. It was the first thing I saw. I just finished it tonight, it was like I couldn't put it down. It is a very inspiring book and it makes you think more in depth about your religon and faith. As of late being a teenager I have had doubts about my faith at one point or another wether or not He exsist, but he has always sent someone or something to bring me back it seems. When I began to doubt again there was your book, and it seemed to make sense to me. Always someone watching, always someone there.

I am not a Christian and never have been, so I found the end of the book a little preachy, however over all it was a great novel. I look forward to reading other novels by you. I think that it may lead to some answers for those who have spiritual thirsts.

For non-Christians, Theodore Beale writes a page-turner of swash-buckling
plot taking you through heaven and hell alongside your favorite horde of
demons and gaggle of angels. Some of the invention is conventional but some
quite clever bits borrowed not only from the Bible but John Milton's
Paradise Lost and friends. Occasionally the writing is inspired,
sometimes not so inspired, but Beale writes a story designed to be ridden
like a roller coaster, not strolled through on a Saturday in the park.
